Jesus Pobre is nestled at the bottom of the Montgo Mountain, between the towns of Denia and Javea on the Costa Blanca, Spain. It is a great place to sample traditional Valencian life, yet only a short drive from the more tourist towns of Javea, Denia and Moraira. La Sella Golf resort is just around the corner offering an 18 hole golf course and spa. Jesus Pobre is also very close to the start of one of the Montgo walking paths.
Within the village there are 4 restaurants/bars, a small supermarket, a bank and a tobacconist. There are also hundreds of restaurants and bars in the surrounding area, catering for every taste.
Gata de Gorgos, a town renowned for its wicker furniture and handbag manufacture is the closest town, only 2 km away. It's a great place to visit to browse the shops full of traditional wares.

Jesus Pobre is equal distance from Valencia and Alicante airports, around a 1 hour drive, giving the option of the majority of low cost airlines from all UK airports.
The weather on the Costa Blanca is pretty good all year round, you can expect very hot temperatures in the summer months of July and August (30+ degrees), with warm temperatures for much of the rest of the year (18-25 degrees), perhaps a little colder in the winter months of January & February.
Overall Jesus Pobre is a great place to stay away from the crowds, perfect for a relaxing stay in Spain. Although, within in a short drive you can have the hustle & bustle of Denia, the beach bars of Javea, on the pretty marina at Moraira.
